Game 23: No more spheres!,
This is another one of those games where I spent far too long figuring out what it would be about (answer: some kind of distressing amalgamation of Asteroids, Bomberman, and Redivider), and as a result wound up not investing enough time into level design.
Much like Redivider, I feel like this game would need additional mechanics in order to provide more depth to the levels – that is, with the selection of components I currently have, it seems unlikely that there’s much more design space available to explore merely by arranging them in different configurations. I’d need to come up with more things to shoot/blow up/avoid if I wanted to add many more levels to this game.
Balloons that could only be destroyed by other balloons, all off-center from the blasts.
And more kill rooms like level 6.
