So I’ve recently gotten back into playing Magic: the Gathering again. Me being who I am, this means that I’ve got a zillion ideas for new card designs rattling around in my head. Here’s a preview of one of the bits of nifty I’m working on…
This card breaks so many rules.
I don’t even know how to tell whether or not it’s balanced.
One thing I have to say is that It’s kind of hard to tell how the name fits in with the ability.
I guess it might help if there was actual art to demonstrate how it’s used, or flavor text or something.
Anyway, while I’m here, I figure I might as well drop in a couple useless ideas I have.

If another permanent would be exiled, put that permanent into it’s owner’s graveyard instead.

I’ve no idea what rarity this would be, or how much it should cost. It seems like it might actually be a pretty game-breaking effect. Johnnies everywhere rejoice.

In retrospect, this idea is actually strikingly similar to the “living weapon” mechanic already in Mirrodin Besieged.
