Sorry for the long silence! I’ve had a handful of things on my plate, and haven’t actually been keeping you all posted on it. So, to catch up:
My Ludum Dare 24 game, Dragoncore Overdrive – an arcade-style game that’s sort of a spiritual kin to Dragondot.
My latest published game, Star Glaive – a huge, highly-polished expansion on my Stargrazing concept.
And lastly, something different: LegendGear, a Minecraft mod I’ve been working on.
I’ve been wondering how one of my favorite game designers have been doing this entire time!
I haven’t been able to try Dragoncore yet, but Star Glaive seems awesome so far! I especially enjoy the music, some fantastic work by John Axon. Will be back with more feedback later.
Any upcoming projects?
I just checked your site, and found you’d updated, yay! I also tried starglaive, and I had a lot of fun. Discovering the super powers was very fun, but I think I loved the names of the bosses the most. I don’t know why, but those names, like “the lazy sister” “star frog” “the deadly wolf” etc, were so fun to read, and just enjoy the name that would come next. The casual mode is a huge plus, because I didn’t feel like getting in serious mode for a game at the moment. Keep it up!
